Founded in June 2022, Women In Power Collective is a wellness-driven community for women of color who lead, build, and create. We exist to spark honest conversation and cultivate a dynamic, holistic lifestyle—one where career ambition and personal joy can co-exist.
Rooted in faith, self-care, and mental health, our ecosystem blends affirmations, communal healing, and luxe, high-touch experiences. Through curated salons, workshops, and signature events, we honor and convene women at the top of their fields—media tycoons, founders and CEOs, entertainers, executives, and macro-influencers—while making space for emerging leaders to rise alongside them.

Meet the Founder, Kadeisha Placide

Kadeisha Placide is the Founder of Women In Power Collective and Co-Owner of Classic Beauty Studio, NYC’s #1 clean-beauty and wellness destination serving people of color for over 15 years. Her work lives at the intersection of wellness, leadership, and culture—designing spaces where high-impact women can breathe, strategize, and thrive.
With a background spanning beauty operations, brand partnerships, and experience design, Kadeisha leads with warmth and rigor—pairing luxe hospitality with practical tools that reduce burnout and increase sustainable growth. She believes the most powerful flex is a regulated nervous system, a clear plan, and a circle that holds you to both.
